MAPPING THE IMAGINATION
What if the computer read Proust? From this project, I propose the value of human imagination and sensibility in the age of Artificial Intelligence driven by Big Data and Machine Learning, by showing the way we interpret poetic words as visual.
SAFE SPACE
"Safe Space" is a data driven application that enables a better communication and understanding between patients and doctors in a connected cloud system. I created the web application during the 2days intense Health Hackathon by collaborating with Parsons MFA Transdisciplinary Design and Product Design students.
SALAD IS BEAUTIFUL
"Salad Is Beautiful" is a project that recreates the mundane salad making experience more creative and poetic. Users can see what's inside their favorite salads with simple data visualization and can customize salads on the screen.
TYPE YOGA
"Type Yoga" is a set of visual languages for yoga that aims to enhance the interaction between a yoga instructor and practitioners, which enables users can learn about each yoga posture in a more playful way.
BUBBLE LIFE
"Bubble Life" a user interaction design that envisions a mobile app that enables people check boring budget checking process in a more playful way by interacting with bubble charts.
THE CREATOR
"The Creator" is a campaign for sharing the value of creativity. With the slogan "be creative!," the sets of information design that rediscover what is creativity and the designed notes for creators aim to shed lights on your hidden creativity.
Q & H (for The History Channel)
"Q & H" is a winning project of A&E History Design Jam, which has an interesting concept of asking historic figures for life advice. It aims to guides people to access digitally archived contents in The History Channel official website.
BIOPHILIA
"Biophilia" is a wristband that visualizes a real time heart rate by connecting with Arduino pulse sensor and Processing visualization of a symbol of trees which represents the concept of "breathing with nature."
WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
Bryant Park is called as a heart of Manhattan, where people from all over the world gather to relax in the busy city. Strangers created a beautiful map of their traces of travel, immigration to the city by connecting strings from their hometown :)
DT HEROS
"DT Hero" is a 2D game, created with Processing, which DTers defeat programming languages that we need to master in the intense Master's program. I created this game during the bootcamp to relieve friends' stress.
HABIT HABIT
"Habit Habit" is a toy machine that connects to wearable bracelets tracking daily behaviors by pushing buttons. Based on habit formation theory, It is designed for children who needs to build simple daily habits.
IMMUNE BOOSTERS
"Immune Booster" is a mobile game created with Unity 2D. The game's context was within the human immune system defeating with bacterial infection so as to let children naturally learn about the importance of immunization.
ITAEWON CITY-REDESIGN
Itaewon is a multi-cultural city in Seoul which many often called as a cultural melting pot that is a full of exotic restaurants because many foreigners live there. We redesigned the city public design experience regarding its identity.
